School Board of Education
Holmen School District's Board of Education, whose members are publicly elected for three year terms, meets regularly on the second and fourth Monday of every month (unless otherwise specified) starting with 7:00pm at the District Office Boardroom, located at 1019 Mc Hugh Rd, Holmen WI 54636. An opportunity for public speakers is provided at each regular meeting (under the Public Participation section of the agenda) to allow citizens to address the Board with their comments, questions, or concerns. Please register with the Board secretary during regular office hours (7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday) at 608-526-1320.
Additional Special Meetings may be called by the Board president if requested by either a Board member or the District Administrator. Occasionally, Executive Sessions, which are not open to the public, may occur at either the beginning or the end of a regular meeting, for the purpose of acquainting the Board with information of a confidential nature such as, but not limited to, personnel matters, students matters, property sale and/or acquisition, etc. No official action may be taken in an executive session.
