First Day of School
The first day of school for all students is Wednesday, September 1st.
If you have any questions regarding your child's attendance, please contact the District Office at 526-6610 or the building office your child will be attending. We look forward to a great start for the 2010-2011 school year.

District Enrollment Process
Parents and Guardians of New Students
Welcome to the School District of Holmen
If you are new to the School District of Holmen, please enroll your child as soon as possible. Enrollment for new preK-12 students is done at the District Office. The District Office is located at 1019 McHugh Road, and the hours are 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Please bring the following required documents with you:
• Immunization records
• Original birth certificate, or other legal document with child's name and birthday
• Proof of residency – this should include your name and address. This can be a:
o Rental agreement
o Utility bill
o Home purchase or bill of sale
Your support of early enrollment assists with making a smooth transition to the school district.

Four-Year Old Preschool Enrollment
The School District of Holmen is now accepting enrollment forms for the Four-Year-Old Public Preschool Program. Any child who is 4-years-old on or before September 1st, 2010 and lives in the Holmen School District is eligible for the program. Our preschool program is a 2.5 hour, 5 day a week (optional) program, and is housed at several locations within the district. The preschool program is free to any eligible child. If you have not received an enrollment packet and you have an eligible child, please contact Kristy McKnight at (608) 783-9393 for information on how to register. Please get those enrollment forms in as soon as possible so we can begin getting bus routes and sites ready for the 2010-2011 school year.
