Board Policy 7230 – Gifts, Grants, and Bequests describes the District’s philosophy and approach to accepting external funding and donated resources.
Before You Accept
The Gifts, Grants, or Bequests Acceptance Form must be completed and submitted for approval prior to any implied or formal commitment to accept a gift, grant, or bequest.
Complete the form when the value is in excess of $500. Collecting details about the source, purpose, and conditions of the funding enables an objective review to ensure alignment with District goals and requirements.
Properly vetted resources obtained through gifts, grants, or bequests can help the District reach its objectives while maintaining compliance and stewardship.
