Raffles
The District supports and provides means for people to conduct raffles associated with the School District of Holmen. Use of the District’s raffle license number is subject to Wisconsin state law and must comply with all requirements.
Overview & Requirements
Raffle activities for the District are administered by the Business Services office. Permission to use the District’s raffle license number must be obtained before conducting any raffle. No District raffles may be conducted without the District’s raffle license number.
Processing a request to use the District’s raffle license number requires timelines and completion of a specific form/agreement. Begin the application process well in advance of your event—typically no less than five (5) business days—to ensure adequate processing time.
There are reporting requirements and information-retention responsibilities associated with using the District’s raffle license number. Users must agree to and comply with these requirements.
Wisconsin recognizes three general classes of raffles. Requesters should be familiar with the class of raffle they plan to conduct and the specific requirements for that class.
