Buildings and Grounds is part of the School District of Holmen’s Support Services Division. Our ambition is to deliver services aligned with the Support Services vision by modeling the practices and behaviors described in the mission.
Support Services Vision: “Customer Service of the Highest Quality and Value.”
Ambition turns into action through clear goals—and meaningful goals must be measurable. Measurement provides clarity on:
- the desired standard of performance when the goal is achieved,
- the current status of performance, and
- the gap to close to meet the performance goal.
Without clarity on the target, current status, and performance gap, improvement stalls. As the adage goes, “If you’re not getting better, you’re getting worse.”
The School District of Holmen’s workforce performance is tracked with multiple results measures. Each September, these measures are shared publicly in the district’s Annual Report, including why each measure matters, how it’s calculated, variables that affect results, the district target, and current status.
In addition to the Annual Report measures, Buildings and Grounds monitors several internal indicators to guide daily improvement.
