Receiving the iPad
iPads are distributed to kindergarten and grade 1 at the beginning of each school year. All students receive a District-issued device.

What comes with it
- iPad with Holmen ID, student label, and barcode (do not remove)
- Protective case (required at all times)
- Charging cord and power adapter
Returning the iPad
Students return iPads at the end of each school year, or immediately if they discontinue enrollment in the School District of Holmen.
Taking Care of the iPad
Students are responsible for proper care. iPads must never be removed from their protective case.
- No food or liquids near the iPad.
- Insert/remove cords gently; avoid pressure on the screen.
- Carry with two hands when walking in hallways.
- Avoid extreme temperatures (e.g., do not leave in vehicles).
- Store in a secure location when not in use (teacher-designated).
- Backgrounds, photos, and apps must be school appropriate.
- Do not share devices unless directed by a teacher.
Important: All repairs are performed by District I&T. Do not use outside repair services.
