The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) is an independent nonprofit that sets rigorous professional standards for PreK–12 educators. National Board Certification is a voluntary, performance-based process developed by teachers, counselors, and education partners to recognize accomplished practice.
The School District of Holmen recognizes and supports this process for district teachers and counselors.
