Computerized Cashier System

Point of Sale & Family Meal Accounts

The School District of Holmen uses a Point of Sale (POS) System to efficiently track student purchases and streamline meal service. Upon enrollment, students meet with Nutrition Services to complete a touch point scan, which serves as their unique identifier and remains active throughout their time in the district. All students are expected to use this system to access meals in the cafeteria.

Families who prefer not to participate in the touch point system must complete an Opt-Out Form prior to the first day of school. Please send completed documentation to mardan@holmen.k12.wi.us.

Family Accounts

All students within a household automatically share a family meal account unless otherwise requested. Families may make a single deposit into the account, and payments are credited immediately. To ensure proper allocation, please include your Family ID Number with all payments.

Low Balance Notifications

When a family account balance reaches $10.00 or less and a valid email address is on file, an automatic reminder email will be sent to notify you that your account requires attention.

À la Carte Restrictions (Grades 6–12)

Parents or guardians of middle and high school students may request restrictions on à la carte purchases. To request a block, please contact Nutrition Services by emailing mardan@holmen.k12.wi.us or calling 608-526-1325.

Account Statements

Parents and guardians can view and print meal account statements at any time through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. For assistance, contact Danielle Martell at mardan@holmen.k12.wi.us.

Graduating Seniors & Refunds

All senior meal accounts must be paid in full before graduation. If a graduating senior has no siblings remaining in the district, families may:

  • Request a refund by contacting Nutrition Services
  • Donate remaining funds to the District Angel Fund, which supports students in need
  • Allow remaining balances to roll over if siblings remain enrolled
  • Refunds are processed only for graduating or transferring students; please allow approximately two weeks for processing

Inactive accounts with no activity for over one year will be closed, and remaining balances will be transferred to the Angel Fund to support families in need within the district.
