Free & Reduced Information
Free & Reduced-Price Meal Benefits
This is a federal program regulated and audited by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Families can apply anytime during the school year. If your household qualifies through Medicaid, SNAP, or other state benefits, you may receive a Direct Certification letter. If you didn’t receive one, please submit one application per family. A new application is required each year because federal income limits are updated annually. All information is kept confidential. Students approved for free/reduced benefits who bring a cold lunch from home and want a milk must pay cash for the milk. Milk is included when the student takes a USDA reimbursable meal.
Families experiencing economic hardship are strongly encouraged to apply.
