Breakfast & Lunch Programs

A Great Way to Start Your Student’s Morning!

Breakfast is served daily for 30 minutes before school begins. When students arrive at school, they can head directly to the cafeteria for a healthy and nutritious meal. Breakfast includes an entrée, juice or fruit, and milk. Meal prices for the 2025–2026 school year are charged at the regular rate unless your family qualifies for free or reduced meals.

The School District of Holmen lunch program is designed to be student-friendly and nutritious. At lunch, students can choose from 2–3 main entrées. Middle and High Schools feature a build-your-own sub line with fresh meats, cheeses, vegetables, and a variety of whole grain breads — plus the Middle School also offers flavorful rice bowls. Every school includes a salad bar with locally grown vegetables. À la carte options are also available at the Middle and High Schools.

Students are encouraged to create a balanced meal by taking all five components offered: one entrée, one bread/grain, up to two fruits, up to two vegetables, and milk. Research shows that students who eat nutritious meals have higher academic success rates and overall well-being. School Lunch is Cool!

Category Breakfast Lunch
Students K–5 $2.25 $3.25
Students 6–12 FREE (Reduced) $3.50
Adults $2.75 $4.50
Milk Only $0.75

For your convenience, if your student chooses à la carte items, you can use the Parent Portal on Infinite Campus to deposit money into your student’s meal account. One-time or recurring payments are available based on balance or frequency. If paying by check, please make them payable to S.U.N. (Student Universal Nutrition Program).

Parents and guardians are asked to keep student meal accounts positive to avoid interruption of service. Automated email reminders are sent when the balance falls below $10.00, with daily notifications for accounts that become negative.
