Farm to School & Local Partnerships

Holmen Nutrition Services has been nationally recognized for not only our variety, but our dedication to Farm to Table and Farm to School initiatives. We proudly received top honors in Best of La Crosse County 2019 and Tribune Readers’ Choice 2021 for Farm to Table excellence.

Many of our ingredients come directly from local farms, the Holmen High School FFA program, and our in-school Fork Farms Flex Farms — which you’ll find growing fresh greens in each building. When you dine with us, you’re supporting a local food network and sustainable learning opportunities for students.

Come check us out! Not only will you have a great meal, but it’s also a great bargain — just $4.50 for a main entrée, side, two fruits, two vegetables, and milk!

We’re proud to serve both students and staff. Everyone needs a nutritious meal to power through long days! Our lunch services vary by school, but staff are welcome to join anytime during serving hours to enjoy a hot meal or build a fresh salad, often featuring locally sourced ingredients.

Each staff member should have a barcode on their ID badge that can be scanned at checkout. This will charge your account, which can be accessed through Infinite Campus > Employee Self Service. Payments can be made online, or you can pay by cash or check directly at the cafeteria.
