Each year, the PTO distributes dollars in the form of mini-grants. Some examples of mini-grant dollars put to use in the past include: bike racks, outside picnic tables, peace pole, spiral binding equipment, and classroom supplies. The amount of dollars distributed each year depends upon the budget for that year. Applications are accepted in February.
Parents, teachers, staff and other stake holders at Viking Elementary may submit an application to the PTO. PTO members review applications and vote to determine which mini-grant applications will be awarded. Please note that all parents of Viking students and all teachers/staff members make up the Viking PTO.
The Viking Elementary PTO is excited to be offering mini grants again this year! We know you work endlessly to support the growth and development of our kids, and hope that we can help offset some of those potential costs you may incur to ensure learning is fun, inspiring, and engaging!

The deadline to submit a request is February 25, 2025. The PTO will review requests and vote on approvals during the March 4, 2025 meeting. NEW THIS YEAR, upon approval of a mini grant, the PTO treasurer will facilitate the purchase of goods when possible. Please ensure you provide a link or document as mentioned at the end of the form.
