The money raised by the PTO is used to benefit the students of Viking Elementary.  Some of the areas receiving support in the past include:  Family Literacy Night, Young Author's Night, volunteer luncheon, teacher appreciation luncheon, field trip assistance, Artist of the Year, Fifth Grade Bash, music program beverages, technology enhancements for entire school, mini-grants, playground equipment, bike racks, all-school assemblies, and outdoor/entry enhancements.

2024-2025 Viking Elementary PTO Budget
