The School District of Holmen has partnered with Amanda Goodenough and Goodenough Consulting, LLC, aligning with our steadfast dedication to promoting an environment free from hate, bias, and harm. We believe that by embracing these principles, we can collectively foster an inclusive atmosphere that empowers every individual within our school community.
Our partnership with Amanda Goodenough and her consulting team has facilitated a comprehensive survey focused on hate and bias. We define these terms to encompass any harmful actions—physical, environmental, or verbal—that stem from bias against identities such as race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, citizenship status, sex, sexual orientation, gender, class, language, age, pregnancy or family/marital status, disability, military status, body size, or other identity statuses protected federally or by district policy.
We believe that this partnership and the insights garnered from the survey will serve as a foundation for transformational change. By acknowledging our areas of improvement and embracing the complexities of diversity, we are better positioned to shape an educational experience that empowers every individual to thrive.
Thank you for joining us on this journey of progress, understanding, and empowerment. We look forward to the positive impact that our collective efforts will undoubtedly bring to the School District of Holmen and beyond.
We invite you to explore the Executive Summary of the survey report, which provides a snapshot of our findings, and insights.
