Every year, the School District of Holmen recognizes those who have made a positive contribution to the education of its students, yet are not employees of the District. Criteria considered in the selection process might include: time commitment, assistance with in-school and out-of-school activities, advancement of the educational program for students, and the effect of the person’s support has had beyond the classroom and/or building.

The 2024-25 Friends of Education were nominated for their outstanding contributions to the District, their time commitment, and their love of education, and were recognized by the School Board of Education at the July 28, 2025 meeting.
