Hello! I am the English Language Arts (ELA) teacher for House 6M.  I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education, and  I received my Reading Teacher license from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.  I have been teaching at Holmen Middle School since 2003, and have been teaching since 1995.    

I have lived in Holmen since 2005 with my family.  My husband works as a Hearing Specialist and is an avid fisherman.  Our daughter, Emerson, is a student at HHS and loves track and hanging out with friends.  Our son, Jackson, is a student at HHS and loves all sports and hanging out with friends.   In my spare time I enjoy reading, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

I enjoy the excitement and energy of middle school students.  I love watching their faces light up when they grasp a new concept.
