Mrs. Dayce McAndrews

I am the English Language Arts teacher for House 8M. I have been a teacher here at HMS since 2001. Prior to joining the HMS team, I was a teacher in Alaska and Pennsylvania. My goal is for all students to feel comfortable and confident with reading, writing, listening, and speaking in any situation by the time they head to the high school. My dream is that they also emerge from this year with a deep love of language arts.

In my time outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and reading. My favorite genres are mystery and historical nonfiction.
