My name is Deon Michels-Bowe and I have been working for the Holmen School Disctrict since 2016.  I completed my undergrad at UW-La Crosse in 2002 and earned a master's in Counselor Education at Winona State in 2010.  I have taught many different social studies courses over the years, including U.S. History, Intro to Psychology, Intro to Economics, American Government, Sociology, Social Studies 9, Current Affairs, and APUSH.  For the upcoming school year, I will be teaching General Psychology (a dual-credit psychology course) and APUSH.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, exercising, reading, and traveling.  My husband and I love being part of Holmen and feel fortunate to raise our children in this community.  With our excellent schools, the beautiful scenery, and supportive people, I know this is truly a wonderful place to raise a family.
