Director of Safety and Student Services Email Phone: 608.526.6610 x1361 Hi there! My name is Jennifer Gimmer (she/her), and I am honored to serve as the Director of Safety and Student Services for the School District of Holmen. With a background in school psychology, I am passionate about creating safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments where all students can thrive. In my role, I oversee a variety of programs, including school safety, school nursing services, multilingual learner (ML) programs, school counseling, social-emotional learning, and academic and career planning.
I earned my degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, where I also obtained my Master of Science in Education (MSEd) and Education Specialist (EdS) degree. My career began as a School Psychologist in the Alma Center-Humbird-Merrillan School District before I joined the Onalaska School District, working with students from early childhood through high school. While in Onalaska, I earned my Director of Special Education and Pupil Services license through UW–Eau Claire.
I believe in working collaboratively with students, staff, and families to ensure that every student feels safe, welcomed, and represented. I am especially passionate about supporting educators in using proactive approaches to student behavior, including Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS), to foster meaningful, student-centered conversations.
I am proud to be part of the Holmen School District and committed to ensuring that every student’s unique voice is heard, valued, and supported. Go Vikings!
