I have been teaching in the School District of Holmen since 2012. I currently work with students in the Community Connections program at the Academy on the Prairie, an alternative program of Holmen High School. Prior to working in Holmen, I taught in an alternative program in Sparta, Wisconsin. My background is in Science Education, and I taught chemistry, biology and physical science for several years before working in alternative education. I continue to maintain a passion for helping students understand the world in which they live, and I strive to incorporate opportunities for Service Learning at the Academy on the Prairie.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two children as they learn and grow. I also enjoy spending time in the outdoors with family and friends. Some of my favorite activities include hunting, fishing, canoeing, camping and photography.
