A Little About Me

In 2011 I began working in the School District Holmen and love working with the staff here that ensures that your student succeeds.  Since 2000 I have been specializing in literacy instruction.  My mantra is, "The reader you are today, or think you are today is not the reader you will always be. It takes one person or one book to help you unlock your love of reading."  It's my job to have students leave my classroom feeling like independent and strategic readers who LOVE to READ.  

My husband is also a teacher and works with 5th graders in Galesville. My daughter Kate is a HHS graduate and is attending Winona State University majoring in Education.  My son Drew, is a senior at HHS and he enjoys playing baseball and participating in power lifting and all the Tech Ed classes the high school offers.
