Point of Sale & Family Meal Accounts
The Holmen School District utilizes a Point of Sale (POS) System to efficiently track student purchases and streamline meal service. Upon enrollment, students will meet with Nutrition Services to complete a touch point scan, which serves as their unique identifier and remains active throughout their time in the district. All students are expected to use this system to access meals in the cafeteria. If you prefer that your student not participate in the touch point system, an opt-out form will need to be submitted prior to their first day of school. Please send completed opt-out documentation to mardan@holmen.k12.wi.us.
Family Accounts
All students within a household will automatically debit from a shared family account, unless otherwise requested. Families may make a single deposit into the account, and payments are credited immediately. To ensure proper allocation, please include your Family ID Number with all payments.
Low Balance Notification
When a family account balance reaches $10.00 or lower, and a valid email address is on file, an automatic email reminder will be sent to notify you that your account needs attention.
Ala Carte Restrictions (Grades 6–12)
Parents/Guardians of middle and high school students may request that their child be restricted from making a la carte purchases. To request this block, please contact Nutrition Services by emailing mardan@holmen.k12.wi.us or calling 608-526-1325.
Account Statements
Parents/Guardians can view and print account statements at any time through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. For additional assistance, contact Danielle Martell at mardan@holmen.k12.wi.us.
Graduating Seniors & Refunds
All senior meal accounts must be paid in full prior to graduation. If a graduating senior has no siblings remaining in the district, families may:
- Request a refund by contacting Nutrition Services
- Donate remaining funds to the District Angel Fund, which supports students in need
- If siblings remain in the district, any remaining balance will automatically roll over to the following school year.
- Refunds are only processed if a student graduates or the family moves out of the Holmen School District. Please allow approximately two weeks for processing.
Inactive accounts with no activity for over one year will be closed, and remaining balances will be transferred to the Angel Fund to support families in need within the district.
For questions or to request a refund, please contact the Student Universal Nutrition Office at mardan@holmen.k12.wi.us or call 608-526-1325.
