Would you like to save over $900.00 per child??
You may be able to save that if you qualify, and it only takes 10 minutes of your time to complete the application process for Free or Reduced meals.
This is a Federal program regulated and audited by the Federal Government. A family can apply anytime throughout the school year. If your family qualifies through Medicaid, SNAP, or other state benefits, a letter indicating you have been approved through Direct Certification should have been mailed to you. If you have not received this, one application per family is all that is needed. Families experiencing economic hardships are encouraged to apply. A new application must be completed each year, as the Federal Government sets new income levels each year. This information is kept confidential.
A free/reduced student in this program who brings a cold lunch from home and would like to get a milk must pay cash to receive a milk at lunch however a milk is included when they take the school provided USDA reimbursable meal.
Online applications are highly encouraged! These can be filled out and submitted through the parent portal by going into Infinite Campus, Parent Portal in your menu options select More>Meal Benefits>Applications/Forms, applications can also be downloaded, and paper applications are available at all schools as well as the District Office.
