The approval process includes a criminal background check, a motor vehicle record check, and a medical opinion. The use of private vehicles to transport students is also allowed if inspected and covered with qualifying amounts of insurance.
Special Note Regarding Criminal Background Checks: Please be aware that an email will be sent to you from "Client Services" with a Subject Line of School District of Holmen. Please complete the necessary information and submit it as soon as possible in order to expedite your background check.
Please Note
The Alternative Driver Form # 1 which consists of a background and driving record check may take anywhere from 7 - 10 days to be processed and approved. Please allow enough time before any trips requiring a school district vehicle for this process to be completed.
