Board Policy 7230 - GIFTS, GRANTS, AND BEQUESTS describes the District’s philosophy and approach to the acceptance of gifts, grants, and bequests.

The Gifts, Grants, or Bequests Acceptance Form is to be completed and submitted for approval prior to any implied or formal commitment to accept a gift, grant, or bequest.

The form must be completed when a gift, grant, or bequest is in excess of $500. It is necessary to know the nature of a gift, grant, or bequest to properly evaluate the appropriateness of application and acceptance. The form is intended to promote an objective evaluation of a gift, grant, or bequest funding.

Resources made available through a gift, grant, or bequest can be helpful in the district in reaching its objectives.

The Gifts, Grants, or Bequests Acceptance Form can be submitted electronically or printed and manually populated to best accommodate staff.
